Torre de la Horadada
Torre de la Horadada, belonging to the municipality of Pilar de la Horadada, is located about 12-13 km south of Torrevieja and is the last area on the Costa Blanca coast before the Costa Calida.
The area is well established with a nice village feel. Here you will find a popular marina and lovely sandy beaches such as Playa Jesuitas, Playa del Conde, Playa del Puerto, Playa Las Villas and Las Higuericas. Grocery stores, shops, markets, bars and restaurants are open all year round, making it a great place to live all year round as well as during the high season. Pilar de la Horadada, with about 21,500 inhabitants, complements the offer with more shops, grocery stores, banks, etc. It also houses the area’s health center(Centro de Salud).
Beach & Golf
Close to the “old” square in Torre de la Horadada you will find the lovely promenade that offers great views all the way down to La Manga. Next door is also the old XVIth century tower, built in 1591. Legend has it that using these coastal towers and seashells as a warning system kept the pirates at bay.
Lo Romero 18-hole golf course is located about 15 minutes from Torre de la Horadada and the area is under construction but the golf course has already become a popular course. Click here to see the properties being built in the Lo Romero area.
